Our Missions
The DPRK-CEI is focused on both short and long term goals related to the development and consolidation of cultural relationships between the foreign organisations and the DPRK..
Through arranging educational trips, fostering relationships between students and faculty through visits and subject-specific collaborations, and creating an environment for subject-specific exchanges, we provide a trusted platform for academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, cultural learning, and knowledge sharing.
Through collaborative artistic workshops, musical performances or supporting traditional and contemporary art forms, the DPRK-CEI is committed to helping building cultural diplomacy through the arts, and facilitate successful, and aspiring artists from Korea to showcase their skills abroad, and vice-versa.
Sport is a universal language that foster camaraderie, discipline and mutual respect. It is also a key tool for strengthening cultural ties. Throuh athletic exchanges, joint training programmes and international sporting events we aim to promote an atmosphere of friendship, cooperation, and healthy competition!
Working directly with disability advocate groups and foundations in the DPRK, the DPRK-CEI is committed to ensuring that cultural engagement includes all members of society. Through artistic performances, sports exchanges, or rehabilitation projects, we provide an environment to uplift, support, and engage disabled people from both Korea and the wider world.
